Entertainment:MOST BONO AND AHAFO'S DJS,MEDIA PERSONALITIES AND BLOGGERS ARE SILENT MUSIC KILLERS INSTEAD OF BEING SAVIOURS-1 KOLO LAMENTS

He has been off the scenes for sometime but his music seizes to fade,one of Ghana's award winning and fast rising musician, 1Kolo finally addresses the public.
In a chit chat with Olisbonline, the artist spoke a lot which he had his emphasis on the media including DJs, presenters and bloggers' role in ensuring stability of an artiste's craft via professional promotions.
First he revealed ;Most artistes in Bono and Ahafo do not want to travel to explore other parts of the country .He explains that its because of the fear that their songs will no longer make it to radio or DJs will stop playing their song when they(DJs) realise the artiste has left the town or region. DJs in Bono and Ahafo regions kill talents and hard worked-on music.They trash it because you've left the scene and renders your fanbase to fall apart. At a point where musicians are incapable to promote their work outside the region becomes a problem. Thus, they(panelists) will sit on radio to lambaste artistes that such artistes are a local artiste/champion,photoshoot artiste ,among others . They always try to find faults instead of guiding you to make your craft better .
He lamented;
I have been a victim of this. Adwuma was released in 2019 and received all the sugarcoated words from the media, today where is it? Some are even saying I've stopped doing music just because I took another step to add up on my career which in the long run will aid pushing my songs.Moreover, Last year July, 2019 down, Adwuma was the biggest song in the region but as soon as I left to Accra ,they stopped playing. Adwuma topped most of the radio request shows,topped most music charts in the region but its hardly to hear it being mentioned when discussing songs making progress in and outside the region .Its being ignored because I'm not around or not their friend which is another story....
